Terms & Conditions

Last updated 16 Sep 2026. By creating a PaHarsha account or using the site, you agree to the terms below.

1. What PaHarsha is

PaHarsha connects buyers in Zimbabwe with suppliers so buyers can request quotations, compare offers, and place orders in one place. PaHarsha is a marketplace, not a party to the trade between a buyer and a supplier — the contract for goods or services is between them.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information your company submits, and for activity under your account. Buyer and supplier accounts should reflect a real company or trader — accounts used to mislead other users may be suspended.

3. Verification badges

Suppliers and buyers can apply for a verification badge from their account. There are two tiers:

Blue verified

For businesses formally registered in Zimbabwe. Requires a business registration number, a named contact person, and a physical address. PaHarsha staff review the details submitted before approving the badge.

Yellow verified

For informal traders who aren't formally registered. Requires only a physical address and a named contact person, reviewed by PaHarsha staff before approval.

A verification badge reflects the information a trader provided and that PaHarsha staff reviewed for consistency — it is not a legal certification, a credit rating, or a guarantee of the quality, reliability, or delivery of any goods or services. Always exercise your own judgement, especially for high-value orders. PaHarsha can revoke a badge at any time if the underlying details turn out to be inaccurate.

4. Quotes and orders

A request for quotation (RFQ) is not binding until a buyer accepts a supplier's quote. Once accepted, PaHarsha tracks the order through payment, dispatch and delivery so both sides can see its status, but fulfilment remains the supplier's responsibility and payment remains the buyer's responsibility.

5. Commitment fee

When a buyer accepts a supplier's quote, PaHarsha charges the buyer a commitment fee — 7% of the quoted total, or 5% for orders above $10,000 — paid by mobile money directly to PaHarsha. This fee already includes all charges; there is nothing added on top. It is the only payment PaHarsha itself ever collects or holds, and it is not an escrow or a deposit toward the goods: the rest of the price, and how and when it's paid, is agreed and settled directly between the buyer and the supplier, and PaHarsha is not a party to that payment. See the Pricing page for the current schedule.

If the buyer withdraws after a supplier has quoted or accepted, the commitment fee is forfeited — it covers the matching work already done and isn't refunded for a simple change of mind.

If the supplier fails to deliver, goes unresponsive, or delivers something materially different from what was quoted, the buyer can request a refund by reporting the order from their account, which is reviewed by the PaHarsha help desk. Reports involving a Blue or Yellow verified supplier are fast-tracked, since PaHarsha holds more information on — and more leverage over — verified suppliers; reports involving an unverified supplier are still reviewed and can still be refunded, just with a closer look given the platform has less on file to go on. A refund is never ruled out by a supplier's verification tier alone.

See section 6 for PaHarsha's optional subscription plans, which sit alongside this commission and don't replace it (except where noted).

6. Subscription plans

PaHarsha offers optional Silver and Gold plans for suppliers, described on the Pricing page, priced monthly or annually. There's no live card/mobile-money checkout yet: you pay by EcoCash or bank transfer and submit the reference from your account, and PaHarsha staff confirm the payment and activate the plan — usually the same day.

A plan's benefits (listing cap, RFQ category alerts, featured placement, priority tender access, and — for Gold's annual cycle only — the reduced 3% commitment fee) apply for the period paid for and lapse automatically at the end of that period if not renewed; your account then reverts to the Free plan and its limits. If your active listings are above the Free cap when a plan lapses, existing listings stay live, but you can't add new ones until you're back under the cap or you renew.

Subscription payments are for access to these features, not for any particular order or outcome, and — like the commitment fee — are not held in escrow. A subscription payment is non-refundable once the plan has been activated, including if you cancel or downgrade before the paid period ends, except where PaHarsha staff determine in their discretion that the payment was made in error or the plan was never activated.

PaHarsha is not liable for any RFQ, tender, or listing outcome connected to a subscription plan — a plan changes what you can see, list, or be alerted to, not the underlying trade between buyer and supplier, which remains subject to section 1 and the commitment-fee terms above.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use PaHarsha to list unlawful goods or services, to misrepresent your company or its verification status, or to circumvent the platform to avoid its terms. We may suspend accounts that do.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as PaHarsha grows. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
